Rachel stopped by CTV Morning Live to discuss some healthy and fun options for Halloween. Watch the video HERE!

Ways to make Halloween a little bit healthier:
• Don’t open trick or treating candy until the evening of Halloween
• After trick or treating, let your kids pick a few of their favourite candies, then throw out or donate the rest. The worst thing you can do is have a piece of candy everyday…especially with the holiday season just around the corner.
• Make sure you and your kids eat well throughout the day with meals containing protein, fibre and good fats to help decrease the sugar spike.
• Instead of giving out candy, give small toys, stickers, pencils, erasers, etc.
